The Environment

From the time of its inception, MEC Limited had great focus on making sure that the plant is complying with the Environmental regulations .

The result of these exhaustive efforts is that MEC is ISO 14001–Environmental Management–certified.

Furthermore, ISO 14001 is not simply a one-time certification, but calls for periodic inspections and evaluations aimed at continuously improving the framework and processes used in environmental management.

MEC Limited has been ISO 14001 certified since the year 2004.

The Plant

The plant is situated within the Free Zone area in the city of Suez on the Red Sea, strategically located 5 kilometers from Adabeya Port, and about 30 kilometers from Sokhna Port. Situated with such close access to the two main Red Sea ports, enables us to efficiently serve our customers in the Middle East.
